Deskripsi Pekerjaan



















You will:


Provide a broad range of support to clients relating to the PT CQU Executive Business Training Centre’s Library and ICT(Information Communication Technology) Services.  You will provide general library and technical support to staff and students to ensure ease of access to systems and a high level of customer service is provided to clients at all times. You will work under the guidance of CQUniversity’s Information and Technology Directorate (IaTD) Client Services leadership.



You are responsible for:



·         



Providing a professional standard of client service including responding to and resolving difficult client related situations including in-person, at a service desk, via videoconference, via telephone or electronically.



·         



Providing support, advice and instruction to clients for a broad range of areas including but not limited to:


o   library services


o   locating print and online information


o   resolution of basic ICT problems and


o   use of learning delivery/study Training Centre support systems.



·         



Delivering basic training and orientation sessions relating to the Centre’s Library and IT systems.


o   Using your advanced technical knowledge and excellent time management skills to install, maintain and support a broad range of ICT and audio-visual equipment with only a small amount of guidance/back-up from CQUniversity’s Information and Technology Directorate (IaTD). 


o   Coordinating the deployment of local equipment and software including audio-visual equipment, computers, printers and software.

Preparing business documentation and instructional articles.



·         



Participating in continuous improvement of systems, services and processes.



·         



Participating in other duties which support the Centre’s operations as directed.

Knowledge and Education



Skills and Experience



·        Knowledge or ability to acquire knowledge of the Training Centre’s policies and complex procedural requirements.


·        Proven expertise and/or experience in the support of ICT systems and services, including: 


o   Video conferencing and audio-visual technology 


o   Office productivity software such as Microsoft Office suite. 


·       Knowledge of or ability to quickly acquire knowledge of contemporary library practices processes and concepts relating to delivery of information services.


 


Desirable


Completion of a Diploma level qualification with relevant work-related experience or a certificate level qualification with post-certificate relevant work experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.



Essential


·      Proven communication and customer service skills with an ability to liaise courteously and professionally with a diverse group of clients.


·      Problem-solving, planning and time management skills with an ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively in a team based work environment with minimal supervision.


·      Experience working in a library or IT/client service environment.
