Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering or related field from reputable university.
Experience in automotive sector.
Good command of both written and spoken in English.
Expert in the cost structure of automotive car parts.
Minimum 5 years’ proven working as a purchasing manager of MRO & manufacturing facility in the automotive manufacturer industry.
Expertise and knowledge of MRO & Manufacturing requirements & Specification for the automotive industry.
Computer literacy especially in MS Office.
Leadership experience.
Have driving license and willing to travel.
Roles & Responsibility
To responsible sourcing & purchase all supporting items.
To responsible sourcing & purchase MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operation) for manufacturing facility, construction, product development, IT and others back office need includes sales & marketing department.
Identify & select potential suppliers.
To responsible select potential suppliers and conduct tenders.
Compares quotes and identify best suppliers.
New supplier registration process and monitor supplier performance regularly.
Create and implement annual cost reduction strategies.
To responsible for price negotiations.
Conduct Market research in terms of market prices.
Generate price trend, comparison with market prices.
Familiarity with automotive quality requirements.
To responsible provide and maintain purchase agreement.
Maintain Purchase Order (PO) properly & fair, and regularly review the order status.
Responsible for monitoring and updating any change in import & export regulations tariff.
Perform risk assessments, periodic supplier performance reviews to ensure supply performance and other conditions (i.e. labour, financial status, etc.) and necessary prepare contingency plan.
To build a good relationship with suppliers.
Responsible for improving supply chain system from suppliers to company.
